you know the problem w/ being highly indecisive? i can see the benefits of absolutely everything. i can see the drawbacks of the exact same things. none of them out weigh the others. it's not that i don't want to make a decision. it's not that i'm not thinking about making a decision. it's not that i'm not giving it serious thought. i just can see all sides of every issue, and they all weigh equally.
so anyway, all that to say that i haven't posted in forever, not b/c i didn't have anything to post, but b/c i had too much to post
if that makes any sense.
i still don't know where to start...
hmm... ok. my toes are cold.
you really wanted to know that, didn't you? deal with it. my toes are cold b/c i have to wear flipflops in 40 degree weather. i can't get closed toed shoes on, b/c i managed to beat up the lower half of my leg and ankle yesterday... sigh....
speaking of sighing.... somehow.... some people managed to talk me into giving up chocolate and coke for a week!!!!!!!!!!!
just thought you'd like to know the world is ending shortly, and if it's not, and you're around me, you're going to wish it had
fair warning.
the semester's started... very easy. i decided i needed a break, so i'm only taking 14 hours
sleep is good
my pillow is my friend
ok, these smilie faces are annoying me. (see?? this is what happens when you remove the good things from my life!!!! arg)
the one class i think i'll have a "problem" with, is life science. it's not a hard class, by any means. the prof is extrememly nice and funny. she tries to make it interesting. but... it's so.... easy! sigh... we barely barely brush over chemistry and biology.... we'll start talking about a concept i learned forever ago, and i'll get excited and want to actually learn more about it, but then we just keep going.... i've never in my life taken "normal" sciences classes.... i took biology early... i took chem 1 and chem II and physics.... i didn't have to take those... i wanted to... so, what in the world am i doing in life science?!!?!? i mean, there's not even a periodic table in the textbook!!! sigh.... okay.... i'll quit ranting now... i just.... i just miss science... real science... .and challenges...... arg....
speaking of missing challenges.... everytime i get settled and decide to just stick w/ education, something else comes up.... this is driving me crazy... for one of my mom's classes, she got me to take this personality test, which i took twice... i'll figure out some way to put the results on here later, but they were deep thinker and harmonizer... two completely opposite results, but both fit me perfectly..... why does this always happen?!?!! sigh.... so then after i email the results to my mom, she calls me... apparently i've never told her that i always get split results on tests like that... she seemed to think it was something amazing... i guess it could be, but at the same time, it's frusterating beyond belief.
then she brought up that teresa, a lady she's known for forever, mentioned the other day that i should be a judge in family court and be a child advocate... law always gets brought up.... and then i went to work the next day... mom told me to talk to gerrie, my boss, who she claims as one of the other really wise people that she knows... but i never brought it up. she did. and she brought up law, w/o me ever having mentioned it before..... i don't know what to do....
after i got off the phone w/ my mom, she called me right back and said that there was one other possiblilty that she really didn't want to mention, but thought that she should.... psychology.... specifically a child psychologist... i loved pysch when i took it in high school, but what made her comments really strange was that earlier that afternoon, i'd been thinking about switching my major to psych... i don't know.... i love all the stuff about the brain... it's fascinating! there's always new stuff that they're discvering and everything just adds to how complex it is and how wonderful its Creator is.... in fact most psych/sociology stuff was amazing.... but i don't know how much of that was the material, and how much of it was Mrs. Bardwell's passion and my desire to learn.... but even then, honestly, i can't see myself being a psychologist....
but i also can't see myself being a teacher, or a lawyer........ arg..... if my foot didn't hurt so much, i might kick something..... and if i hadn't sworn off chocolate, i would eat some..... sigh....
